Pharmacosmos, headquartered in Holbaek, Denmark with affiliates in the US, China, UK, Ireland, Germany, Sweden and Norway, is a company dedicated to eradicating iron deficiency in both humans and animals. We manufacture and market medicines with an unwavering focus on changing the way iron deficiency is prevented and treated. On the forefront of swine iron deficiency prevention, our Uniferon (Iron (III) Dextran product is the only prevention and treatment product approved by health authorities in Europe, Asia and the FDA in the U.S.

While our influence is certainly global in scope, our commitment to the U.S. swine market is evidenced by our continued production of, and improvements to the Uniferon 200 product, as well as our commitments to the local distribution and swine production levels via our U.S. Veterinary Advisory Board and the on-site testing and F.A.C.T. program for swine producers.

The Iron (III) Hydrogenated Dextran API is produced using the highest quality standards in the Pharmacosmos A/S manufacturing facilities in Denmark, whereby this API is utilized for production of Uniferon 200 elsewhere at an FDA approved CMO. Pharmacosmos works closely with pork producers, swine veterinarians and our marketing partners worldwide to incorporate best practices solutions into our treatments.
